Cautions: A kidney stimulant, uva ursi should not be given to individuals with kidney disease. A strong herb, uva ursi should not be taken in large doses, or for extended periods –generally, not longer than two weeks at a time. Uva ursi can turn the urine green, but this is not cause for alarm
