Binders are often confused with Open Pathways, but they serve a different role. Open Pathways focuses on making sure the body’s routes of elimination are working properly, while binders work directly in the gut to attach to toxins so they can be carried out of the body. A common binder is charcoal, but we don’t prefer it because it can also absorb nutrients and may be hard on gut health.

Chlorella offers a more supportive option. Rich in chlorophyll, it helps neutralize toxins while also supporting liver function, which is essential for moving toxins into the gut for elimination.
